Dr. Raynham began her illustrious medical journey in Cape Town, South Africa, where she trained at the same hospital that performed the world’s first heart transplant. Her exceptional performance earned her a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford, UK, where she completed her PhD (D.Phil). Following this, she completed her internal medicine residency at the prestigious Brigham and Women’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Her passion for patient interaction and clinical skills led her to specialize in dermatology.
Dr. Raynham is dedicated to treating patients of all ages, from young children to the elderly, with a special interest in skin cancer treatment and prevention. Her personal experience with skin cancer has deepened her commitment to helping patients manage and prevent this condition.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Raynham is an active contributor to the field of dermatology through her insightful articles on skincare and wellness. She shares tips on topics ranging from retinol use and dry skin management to protecting your skin from UV damage.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Raynham enjoys spending time with her family and frequently travels to South Africa to visit her extended family and enjoy safari adventures. Her husband is an infectious disease doctor, and together with their four children, they share a love for hockey.
