Horn Pond Recreation Area

"Beautiful gorgeous park. Very peaceful and quiet, a full walk around the whole lake takes about 1 hour so keep that in mind. Lots of pretty spot to take pictures or sit and enjoy the sunset/sunrise. Plenty of ducks and geese too if you like to look at birds!"

"Great place to walk year round. The parking lot gets full quickly, but lots of street side parking nearby. The restrooms are closed at the moment."

"I live right down the street from Horn Pond so when the weather is nice, I am usually there. When I need some peace and quiet, I usually walk down there with a book and just read by the water. Or if my daughter is with me, we will walk the pond, skip rocks, or we will feed the geese. I love Horn Pond. It will always be one of my favorite places."

"This is a loop trail with wide paved paths. Branching off are many smaller dirt footpaths leading to the water or up into the hills. It's an easy stroll with ample benches along the way for enjoying the beautiful views, watching the waterfowl, or resting. Near the water plant is a path which is quite steep. This will lead to the mountain top for a gorgeous view of Boston's skyline. (Great sunset opportunities) Access to the water allows for kayaking and fishing. Some areas lead to small beach areas, though I don't know that play is advised. If you want a gentle stroll with a view, I highly recommend checking out this park."

"This is a very great place for talking a walk in a beautiful area and whenever you feel tiered take a perfect spot on a bench with a magnificent view of Horn pond. This area has several trails. I visited there in the winter for the first time and realized it’s a beautiful place. Yesterday, the 1st of the June, I visited there again and I loved it. An important point about this reservation is most of the trails are flat, so it’s a perfect place for running. Lastly, I saw people were fishing there."
