"For those that appreciate a quick review: If you’re considering Stone Ridge Properties and have the chance to work with Celine Muldowney, stop looking for a realtor (this is the one you want) and start the journey to finding your next home. Celine was a pleasure to do business with, and I could not imagine navigating the home buying process without her. I’m blessed to have found her through a family friend. Here’s why (this part is for those that appreciate an in-depth review). I found Kaplan real estate said it best “A good real estate agent is similar in nature to a conductor of a symphony, coordinating the different players to make a successful transaction a reality. At different points in the process, the real estate agent is a salesperson, a buyer’s advocate, an analyst, a business manager, a consultant, a negotiator, and a marketer, just to name a few.” As an engineer by trade, I always perform hours of research in understanding a purchase or a business opportunity. I took to several internet websites: Kaplan Real Estate, HUD.Gov, and NMLS to come up with the criteria I would use to select THE best realtor. Her problem solver mindset We ran into a few hiccups with a non-responsive seller, or my mortgage lender couldn’t get the final inspection back, but we were able to move back our deadline for the financing commitment Her honesty and integrity When it comes to people, for me my mom is the bar for attention to detail and integrity and I felt like I was working with someone that genuinely cared to deliver on all these qualities this is the one that resonated most with me. Her hustle and tenacity Some days we exchanged 30 emails and 30-40 text, ensuring all parties were in line and on task. Her interest in houses and architecture Today Celine still follows up asking how move in is going and how my son and I are enjoying the property. I can remember her taking the time to explain how the particular windows in my bedroom opened in to clean and the importance in the level of quality construction in the property. Her engaging personality Celine was a pleasure to work with and all parties involved felt obligated to deliver on the deadlines that she managed and orchestrated. Her attention to detail During the initial walk through after purchase Celine made a list of at least 40 items to be addressed, everything from my parking decals, to paint touchups, cabinets that didn’t meet, the water pressure, the lighting, light bulbs not working, and the list goes on and on. I was able to focus my attention on what I do best, working, making money, and providing for my family knowing I was in good hands. Her knowledge of the local housing market In my case Celine was local to NH, and MA. She knew the beach, she knew the market, and, in this market, she nudged me to make an offer on the first property I saw. 2 days later the entire building was sold out. Today I’m receiving cash offers 100k above the sell price. A few memorable moments for me included: • Explaining the home buying process • Pushing back on my mortgage lender when we were up against tight timelines • Pushing back on the seller to reduce my initial deposit prior to sell • Expediting the closing process • Following up on every detail in my HOA documents • Running a virtual walk through when I was unable to attend as well due to living 4 hours away at time • Sifting through the details of a new build and pushing back on the builder to complete any outstanding construction issues • Visiting her well-appointed office in downtown Newburyport • Walking into to my condo for the first time as a homeowner to be greeted with a wonderful array of gifts including a beach set for my 5-year-old son  If you’re lucky enough to work with Celine, don’t think twice.
