"I went to the Vascular Lab at Salem Hospital for a phlebotomy. Debbie took care of me and I cannot say enough about the kindness, the compassion she had during the whole process. We spoke about France, her experiences in Paris and time flew although I was very anxious about the procedure. Thank you Debbie, you are in the right profession!"

"Unfortunately my nephew dislocated his shoulder while we were visiting in Salem. We went to Salem Hospital ER and were in and out in less than 2 hours. That included 2 x-rays. We were back to sightseeing after his arm was reset. Best hospital experience I’ve ever had…especially the ER"

"We live in Southern Maine but we were visiting Salem for Labor Day; just a day trip. My 16 year old son dislocated his shoulder during our visit (he has dislocated it before while skateboarding, so it is unfortunately something that can happen a lot more easily now...). We searched online and found that Salem Hospital was the closest- it was an emergency situation. We walked into the Emergency entrance at 3:10pm, they did a quick and brief registration within the first couple of minutes and within less than 5 minutes, he was in a Triage room. They took his vitals and quickly took him out back to another more private room where he was given pain medication, then wheeled down to X-Ray to confirm the dislocation we already knew of. A doctor came in and made the plan to get the humerus back into the socket, then did so as quickly and comfortably as possible, with the help of a nurse. Every doctor and nurse that spoke with us was very friendly and had great bedside manner. They were thorough, compassionate, and pleasant. So much so, that I felt a positive review was warranted. It's not too often that you have a positive experience at a hospital in an emergency situation, but that is really what happened here! We were in and out within less than two hours. We walked in at 3:10pm and walked out at 5:00pm. In that time, he was registered, vitals taken, pain meds administered, x-ray taken, dislocated shoulder relocated, follow up x-ray shot to make sure everything was where it should be- then discharged. Our experience was 10/10."

"Hospital was okay. Went into the main entrance, where they make you mask-up and ask you where your going. There is security guard at the entrance also. Every time I have been here, the parking situation is terrible, you have to park so far away. Unless you are handicapped, but even then the spots are usually filled up very quickly. There are vending machines near emergency room which is nice. The wait is usually a good wait. Wouldn’t go back unless had to."
