"Friendly salon offering everything. Owner Eric is bouyant, friendly and gives excellent haircuts. My boys all go to him, as does my husband. He's helped me with an undercut, and haircuts and given me great advice on styling curly. Sherylann is also great at color, cut and blowdry/style. She's helped me cover grey and get prepped for 2 parties. You can also get mani/pedi here, facials and eyebrow shaping. Lots of plants decorate the salon, and there are screens showing video of ocean wildlife which is very soothing. Lots of good hair product, too."

"This will be a long winded review, but I hope it can truly shed some light on my experience at Planet Color. This salon, and specifically Gina, has been a breath of fresh air. After a tumultuous time spent trying to find someone who was willing to color-correct my partially bleached, mostly black hair back to blonde—salon after salon proved to be incapable or lacking. I stumbled upon Planet Color as a last ditch effort in my journey to find help. Eric answered the phone, and in a pleasant and optimistic attitude, told me to come see him as soon as I could. After lunch, I walk in, and he assesses my hair alongside one of the stylists. He tells me that what I want can certainly be done, however, it will be a process. Seeing as this is the first salon that is agreeing to actually put in the effort, I happily accept his proposal, and I set up an appointment with Gina. Gina, someone who I came to find as an absolute sweetheart full of sheer talent, greets me and brings me right to the chair. I show her a few photos, and she immediately knew what to do. Just in two sessions, my hair was dramatically and positively changed in a way I didn’t think possible. (I actually questioned myself and if she knew magic.) She brought my disaster of a hair to nice ashy blonde, and gave me a cut that completely suited me. Super rare, as I usually cry after getting my hair cut. Already hooked. My next few appointments are spent with Gina, talking about our lives, our children, and just random things. She is so easy to get along with, and really makes the process go by so quickly! Her bubbly and lighthearted personality really makes the whole experience one to look forward to. She treats her clients with kindness, compassion, and dignity. I know I sound like a broken record, but she really has left a positive impression on me. She’s super flexible and accommodating, a big plus to us moms. As for the results, I couldn’t be happier. We have finally brought that disaster of a nest to a beautiful, even toned platinum that I had been longing for. She kept me informed throughout the whole process, and kept strict assessments of any damage from the bleach. As we all know, bleach is harsh. Her bleaching process did not cause any issues with my hair whatsoever. It looks better than it did when I walked in without a full head of it! I cannot dote on her enough. She really changed my whole outlook on salon bleaching, and now I won’t dare try doing it myself anymore. Worth every reasonable dollar spent. The moral of the story here is that Planet Color and Gina delivered in ways I didn’t think possible. I utterly refuse to go anywhere else now and she has locked me down as a client, as long as I have a head of hair."
