"Horrible experience! The nurses are terrible, the aides are terrible. It may look nice on the outside but don't be fooled! If you love your family DO NOT put them in this poorly run mis-managed facility. They lie constantly and the poor elderly people have no defense. As soon as family leaves they go back to doing whatever they please. Disgusting treatment and the attitudes are over the top! If you dont like your job then QUIT! All that glitters is NOT gold!"
"Our mother resides at Port and I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff has been to her. The facility is very clean and there's so many activities available. The care our mother has been receiving makes us very happy."
"The only reason I am giving this facility one star, is because I can't go any lower. My mother has spent two weeks there. She was admitted with some minor health issues after coming out of the hospital. Day after day her condition deteriorated. We would speak to the nurses, and ask questions and never got any answers. I went in and asked that she please receive fluids preferably IV because she appeared to be getting more and more dehydrated. And day by day again nothing was done and we watched her deteriorate. While I understand most facilities are shorthanded and tempers may be high while patience is low, I also understand that sometimes patients can be difficult. But there's absolutely no excuse to treat a human being with the lack of respect and compassion that my mother was treated within this facility. The only thing that saved her was when she was close to death and they decided to send her back to the hospital so severely dehydrated that her renal system has shut dowm, to weak to barely speak or raise her arms. I'm grateful they had the presence of mind to send her back to the hospital before it was too late. I went into this facility a few days after she left to clean out her room, three employees came in and out while I was there and not one person questioned who I was or why I was there taking things out of the room. I could have been anybody taking anything, but not one person questioned me. I would not under any circumstances recommend this facility to anyone. What scares me is the people that cannot stand up and speak for themselves. If the people that can, can be treated so poorly what is possibly happening to the people who can't. It's incredibly sad that the healthcare system has been reduced to this."
"This facility is a breath of fresh air! It's beautiful and clean, and the employees are happy to be there! People smile here! Even through their masks you can tell they are smiling! My dad is there now, and we are VERY happy with the level of care he's receiving. The team attends to each patient's needs like a well oiled machine! They even have everything taken care of for his appointments before I ask! If he has to be somewhere other than home, I'm so happy he's there!"
"I can’t say enough about this place. My mom has been there for 2 months so far. I’m there everyday with her and watch all the employees run around all day long. These ladies are amazing at there jobs There are a few that go above and beyond for everyone here. Rebecca Marci and Kaylee are angles. One day I sat and watched a patient cry and was very upset. Rebecca was with her comforting her and you can see that she really cared about her feelings. Every staff member in there are amazing They get the best physical therapy around Robert works with my mom and has so much patients with her. You can tell they all love there jobs. From Angela to Shannon to Alexandria I couldn’t ask for better nurses to take care of my mom. From Cindy to the whole admin staff. We appreciate all that you do."
