Dr. Barreto, a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, completed her residency at the Tufts University Family Residency at the Cambridge Health Alliance, where she specialized in psychiatry in primary care and medical care for underserved populations. Dr. Barreto is renowned not only for her clinical expertise but also for her compassionate approach to patient care. She has been honored with numerous awards, including an excellence in teaching award during her residency and the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. As a member of prestigious organizations like the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Barreto is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements.
