"It took us a while to finally try ferrante's and I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. Had Italian food the first night that was excellent. Had the swordfish shop that was beyond my expectations. The staff are so friendly and nice and the place is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend."
"We visited for the first time and had a wonderful lunch. We both had the lobster roll special, one cold and one warm, and it was delicious. Packed with lobster. I had the fries which were plump and lightly fried. Possibly the best fries I have ever had. The onion rings weren't nearly as successful. The place is comfy and the 3 young ladies provided great, friendly service."
"We stopped in today for a quiet lunch and were very impressed. Spotlessly clean, minimalist design, with a bold and flavorful cuisine. I absolutely loved the lobster chowder, more of a stew with big chunks of lobster in a thick reduction studded with sweet corn. And my shrimp scampi was outstanding - even with so much garlic, there was balance so nothing overpowered. UPDATE: we have since gone back several times and explored their new cocktail and wine menu, which ranks very well alongside other Winthrop drinking establishments with polished offerings."
"We were recently visiting family in Winthrop and decided to try Ferrante's as they had never been. We sat on the rear patio over looking the harbor and it was beautiful. Our drinks were all wonderful and the food was excellent, probably one of the best lobster rolls in the city and not expensive! This is a great little gem in Winthrop I hope to eat at again when we return in October!"
"Love Ferrante’s. I’ve been several times now and have had wonderful meals every time. The swordfish might be the best I’ve ever had anywhere- bone in too and definitely very fresh. Worth the longer wait. The servers are very hard working and mannered. Only once out of several times was there an issue with slow service but hasn’t happened again. Great little neighborhood venue!"
