Situated near the beautiful and fully open Refuge beaches, our facility provides easy access to a variety of recreational activities within the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Whether you're here for a day of exploration or participating in one of our educational programs, Parking Lot 7 is the perfect starting point for your adventure. The Refuge is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and offers numerous opportunities to connect with nature. Our recent success in conservation efforts is highlighted by the 50 pairs of plovers nesting on the beach, resulting in 44 chicks successfully fledging. We invite you to join our team this school year to lead environmental education programs and nature-based outreach.
