"Chris did a good job Especially during covid construction he over came those challenging times. Update... It has been 1.5 yrs for Chris DeForst CJ Builders to correct our bay window that will not open. He did make a few attempts But was Not able to fix it. After he did come up with a plan to take corrective measures and after MULTIPLE times trying to contact him He will not follow up with us and it now seems he has just blown us off."

"Hired CJ Builders to build my home. Overall Chris did a great job. If only he would stand behind his work and honor his warranty. We ended up having a septic backup into the newly finished basement. CJ Builders walked away and did not accept any responsibility. We had to hire another contractor to repair the finished basement. I never would have hired this company had I known they didn't honor their warranty."

"I had a challenging situation. . . flooded out of my home. CJ was awesome to work with. His crew was always on time and polite. He consistently responded in a timely manner when needed. There was drama with insurance and he was patient which I was grateful for. My home looks great. He is trustworthy and knows what he is doing. Don't hesitate to call him if shopping for a contractor!!"

"Updated 1/22/20. I have been asking Chris for over a year to come fix the mistake that was made on the roof. Still has not been fixed. I was really hoping he would stand behind his work and I am really disappointed. Other contractors have said it is clearly not done right as you can see in pics. Come fix it Chris. **Updated** had back roof replaced and ridge vent was not installed evenly and also protruding on the ends a lot. Also section that had new shingles installed is raised up . I talked to chris about fixing this a few times . Hasn't fixed it yet. But a few moments after posting this he got right back to me. So hopefully it gets fixed soon as I have more work for him. I will revise once complete. Overall Chris seems like an honest guy."

"I had a tree fall on our pool house and needed a new roof and the damage repaired. Chris came out right away, gave me a proposal very quickly and gave me realistic expectations on when the work would be started and completed. They were fast, on time, professional and the work they did was beautiful. I will be hiring them again. One of the Major Pros with going with CJ builders would be the communication, Chris is seemingly always available to quickly answer a question, he was always on time, where he said he would be when he said he would be. Very reliable."
