"The Black Forest cake I ordered was nowhere like the authentic black Forest cake. Unfortunately, it didn't have the cherries but instead just some cherry preserve or jam. I ordered it for a special occasion having waited one whole year before I could order this cake and was looking forward to it. Looks like Germany is the best place to have a slice of the Black Forest cake because it's been impossible to find them by the slice here and this cake was quite disappointing. Too much hassle just to get a slice of my fav dessert. The other bakery item I picked up from this bakery was very delicious though."
