Morse Family Cemetery

Established in 1829 on the land of Jotham Morse II, the cemetery is the final resting place of Jotham Morse Jr. (1749-1829), his wife Abigail Gregory (1751-1842), their daughter Hannah Morse (1785-1829), Comfort Thompson, wife of Jotham Morse III, and Jotham Morse III (1781-1852). Each grave is marked by slate tablet stones with foot-stones, except for one marble tablet that has been lovingly reset despite its erosion over time.
