"What a gem this little place is! Found by chance and so glad we did. Everything was delicious! I got the brisket sandwich and my family got the pulled pork tacos. Outstanding! Best BBQ in the area for sure. Family run business, super friendly people. We will definitely be going back more often now that we have discovered Code1 BBQ! 5 stars all day!!"
"Wow! It is so refreshing to walk into a New England BBQ restaurant that actually smells like BBQ! Stopped in first time today ordered a Backyard burger medium rare (Burger, pork belly, egg on a toasted bun). I skipped the egg. Also had potato salad as a side and brownie bites. I had sweet and Alabama white sauce on the side. Burger was cooked perfectly, pork belly was rendered and smoky. The brownies bites were a great finish. Erica (owner) showed me around and chatted while my food was being prepared. That smoker on the website is what they use in the back. This is true BBQ that can't be found in New England anywhere else.. All the workers were smiling and enjoying what they do. So nice to be in a place that has such pride in the product they turn out."
"We ordered the Thanksgiving meal and thoroughly enjoyed everything. They were very willing to accommodate our schedule change. The food was delicious and made for a very relaxing day. Everything was cooked perfectly and reheated well. The meal was supposed to be for 6 people. We had plenty for our meal and enough for everyone to take home leftovers. We’ve never been disappointed, whether we get lunch or dinner and now have a place to get a meal for a special day."
"Delicious! It was my first time going. The pulled pork had a more authentic flavor than most places, mid level I would say with the smoke and not overpowering. Pairing it with the Texas red sauce was a great combination."
"Great service with great food! Had their pork belly & egg biscuit breakfast sandwich...and it was simply amazing. I recommend with the cheese sauce...and you'll definitely need 2 hands to eat it! It's big. One of the best biscuits I've had too."
