"Rachel did the flowers for our wedding and she did a fantastic job. I live out of state, and she took our phone conversation, where I explained my lack of vision, what I liked, didn't like, concerns I had with a winter wedding, and she ran with it- and absolutely knocked it out of the park. I was SO thrilled with her work, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly recommend :)"
"I'm a Photographer and Mahoney's had done the florals at a styled shoot I worked at. They were so beautiful that I decided to contact Rachel there when I was looking for arrangements for my studio. I showed Rachel some inspo photos and we talked about what I was looking for. The 2 pieces she made came out absolutely perfect. They are the perfect addition to my cozy bed installment in my studio. The price was fantastic and Rachel was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend!"
"The garden is huge and has a wonderful variety of items and plants to choose from. But, I’ve been coming here lately to get floral arrangements and bouquets for small events and I’m completely dissatisfied and disappointed. They throw in the most terrible looking flowers into your arrangements and then charge a fortune for it. Last Friday I got one for myself, it looked nice at simple look, but when I arrived home and took it out of the plastic wrap to arrange in a vessel, I was shocked with the quality of the roses. It is something that you cannot unsee. I ended up throwing away 5 of the roses and tried fixing the arrangement with what I had and some crowning glory. Why would the florist do this? No idea! For more that I enjoyed coming here to get last minute flowers (because they do have a gorgeous selection), after this repeated experience I will be going somewhere else."
"Great place to purchase all your gardening needs. Everything looks healthy unlike big box stores. I purchased sod from them. I only needed 1/2 a pallet so I ordered it in person at their store and picked it up the following day. I happen to own a truck. I would recommend getting it delivered if you need a pallet or more, or hiring it to be done if you are not one for gardening/yard work. I was only doing a small area, about 230 sq. ft. Hence, hiring out wouldn’t be cost effective due to being a small area. I would of ended up paying a lot more per square foot if I hired professionals. The below pictures are the before and after. It’s been about 3 weeks and it’s looking good. Instant grass, can’t beat that… Although, I’m a flower gardener so I’m always trying to lessen the amount of grass. Grass is a lot of work to maintain and I don’t get the enjoyment from doing it as I do when working in my garden. It’s just boring, green. I like to have different plants, trees, and shrubs. My backyard grass is a mess of weeds and burnt spots from having a dog. If it were up to me and money wasn’t an object, I would go without a backyard lawn and have a patio, fire pit, small rectangular pool that appears to be in ground but isn’t and pathways to different areas. Oh, and a course shrubs, flowers, and small trees. JUST NO GRASS…"
"Great location with a huge selection of plants from herbs to annuals to perennials to house plant, containers, soil, etc. Hugh car parks l, even though it's very busy I can always find a parking spot. I often drive out here from Somerville. Services are also good, they packed up the plants so they don't get crushed during the ride home."
