We are also a regional referral center for intensive inpatient surgery, offering specialized procedures in vascular, general, cancer-related, orthopedic, hand and joint replacement, plastic, and urology surgeries.
Our dedicated team provides a full spectrum of care, including cardiology, audiology and speech pathology, dermatology, and endocrinology services. We offer noninvasive and minimally invasive procedures to support your heart and vascular health, and our audiology clinic provides comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services.
The West Roxbury VA Medical Center is equipped to serve Veterans with diverse needs. We provide wheelchair accessibility, COVID-19 testing for enrolled Veterans, and transportation services in collaboration with Disabled American Veterans and county Veterans Affairs directors. Beneficiary travel benefits, including transportation and mileage reimbursement, are available for eligible individuals.
We understand the importance of family support during hospital stays, which is why Veteran families can stay at Fisher House free of charge. Our interfaith chapel, located on the ground floor of Building #1, is open daily for prayer and reflection, offering weekly Mass and worship services.
Our emergency department is open 24/7, ready to provide urgent care for life-threatening conditions. We also offer urgent care services for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses at our Brockton and Jamaica Plain campuses.
