This iconic sculpture, created by esteemed sculptor Henry Hudson Kitson in 1920, pays tribute to the renowned Scottish poet Robert Burns and his loyal dog, Luath. Nestled in the picturesque Back Bay Fens, the statue stands proudly near the monument to Irish poet John Boyle O’Reilly, symbolizing the rich Scottish and Irish literary traditions in a serene, pastoral setting.
