"I'm thrilled with my counselor. Thrive took the time to match me with me one. I'm able to sob with her to witness my pain. I'm not alone. I'm feeling better more lifted. It's like i'm not carrying the grief around with me anymore. Plus she's helping me to make decisions in a "functional; " way verses a "dysfunctional" one, which , perhaps, got me here ( I want a better life) in the first place. So go for it. You only have a bit of time to loose. And you're worth that. Right? Of course!"
"10/8, I waited on zoom until 11:30 when my appointment was at 11:00, 10/15, its 11:10, no response, sent emails, no response."
"Avoid using them. They will take your money and not give you a good counselor to help understand your issues and work with you. Couples therapist talked about themselves for 3/4th of the appointment. Didn’t have any suggestions on how to deal with in-laws issues just said ignore it and forgive them. The counselor also suggested I gamble to bring in more money. I asked Thriveworks for a refund for that appointment and was told they had to talk to other people and get back to me in 3 days and they never did. The whole thing is a scam. $100 to join member ship then monthly fee on top of your insurance. Would not refund the appointment when I complained about how bad the counselor was and we had to end our appointment short because it was not going well. I canceled my membership over the phone and never got a confirmation email. Really should be zero stars"
"Heather Olson is a very hard working and passionate counselor. I had the pleasure of working with her and was inspired by the way she was able to work with young children. Not many people find it easy to work with that population, but Heather is capable of forming a deep connection with them. Heather truly cares about her clients because she takes the time to understand their needs and difficulties."
"I was so thrilled when I discovered that a former colleague, Joan B, is now employed there at Thriveworks as a Clinical Therapist. When I worked with her she always showed the utmost professionalism. She always cared for our clients and listened very attentively. Her patience with the clients was amazing. In our Staff meetings she always brought hopefulness even in the most stressful circumstances. She was always empathetic to what everyone was going through, including clients and co-workers. Thriveworks is truly a better place for having Joan B. working there."
