The founder, Steve, has been involved in the fitness and nutrition industries for decades and has a background in athletics, including being a national champion in Track & Field. Unlike other fitness centers, at Carabiner's you can climb and exercise with your kids or have them climb while you attend one of our fitness classes. Climbing is a sport that develops the greatest strength-to-weight ratio, as you are lifting your own body weight. Steve, at the age of 71, loves introducing people to fitness and the sport of climbing.
