"SOFI is a safe place to live. I have had bad experience with maintenance fixing my problems, if it’s not difficult no problem getting it fixed, I have gone with door problems in the garage since October and 2 years with the lobby door."

"Rat infested, overpriced, non compliant management and disgusting buildings. I am sorry to say I ignored all of the Red flags. There was a rat in the leasing office the day I came to sign paper work but I gave them a chance. A rat my first week moving in which the solution was just sticky traps. My lock stopped working and they broke it down and it is now barely working. The ELEVATOR has been broken for more than 2 weeks management has vague updates. I witnessed an older man take 30 minutes to get to the 4th floor. The summertime was full of police calls and pool fights.There is a huge hole on the side of building 3 that was never taken care of and I’m sure it’s messing with the safety and structure of the building. This complex is literally the projects. Only time you can contact management is by showing up in person. I will not be renewing my lease , nothing about these apartments are a LUXURY."

"Well I am here again because Sofi Danvers at 180 Newbury St in Danvers is the worst place I have ever lived. I have been here for 13 yrs. and when Northland owned it for the 1st 11 yrs. it was great, clean, quiet, very pretty. Now it is RAT/MICE INFESTED!!! Trash everywhere, management sucks!! This weekend fights, car windows smashed, cars damaged from the person that smashed the windows. Cops came, management was called and said it was not an emergency. They want $2,400+ for a 1 bedroom these places aren't worth $500 a month due to their lack of keeping a safe, clean, peaceful atmosphere!! By the way the photos they use for the outside on their website is from Northland not from them, since they owned it. They could not use their photos now because it is disgusting. If you want to live in the projects this is the place to live. Moving very soon. As well as the 5 I know that just moved and 8 more that have been here for yrs. moving ASAP!! Here are some photos for proof. These were all from the last 2 weeks. The one with all the empty bud cans, clothing, food on the table are from this weekend, the car photo and broken windshield glass is from Saturday night. Dirty pool water, where people go in with their street clothing. I have video of the RATS but it won't let me load here the file is to big. i also have video of 100;s of RED ANTS crawling on one of the grills because they are so DIRTY!!! RUN RUN RUN - DON'T LOOK BACK I only gave it 1 STAR because I had to to let this be posted I actually give it a minus 100% ++++++"

"My boyfriend and I moved here thinking it looked wonderful and sadly we were wrong and completely regret our decision. The application process and communication from the staff were great at first, however as soon as you sign your lease and put down your payment it seems you are forgotten about. We were pushed to move in as soon as possible so we expected a great apartment, since we were told “under fresh construction” We were shown a different unit as ours was being “renovated”. We were given our keys and not walked up to our apartment and we walked into a disaster. Attached are pictures of what our “completely renovated” apartment looked like. Broken glass, peeling cabinets, tub spout not connected correctly to the wall, etc. It took months for them to fix our broken glass which is a major safety concern and the only reason they were finally pushed to do it was due to the fact i got the board of health involved. 5 months later we still don’t have our cabinets fixed, or a new screen for our patio door or handle that broke off the first night we moved in. It’s very disappointing the way the management company is and I advise anyone to do research before moving here. They seem careless to making their current residents satisfied. Some side notes; The front doors don’t lock even though you are given a key fob to enter the building, so we had a $1000+ delivery stollen from the lobby’s minutes after delivery and the cameras were magically not able to be accessed still to this day with more excuses even after me contacting the police. The elevator has no listed inspection which we’d assume would be the reason it feels and sounds like it’s going to snap off the cable (we take the stairs). They spend all their money received renovating things nobody uses and spend no time or money making the apartments worth more than $350 a month. If we could rate this place 0 stars we would. We will be moving as soon as the lease ends, if not sooner. Hope this helps!"

"The worst apartment complex. Rat infested, trash everywhere, promises made that things will get better however the property gets worse and worse. They spend money remodeling yet it’s all destroyed in a week. Don’t move here. Peole are moving out at an alarming rate and for good reason. There are so many other choices in the area. Cushman Wakefield manages Sofi Danvers. Horrible management company."
