Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

"Pretty disappointing. Happened to be in the neighborhood at dinner time and realized we hadn't been to RR in a long time (years). We remembered big, creative and tasty burgers and plates filled with hot, crispy fries. Not so much. Burgers were pretty much tasteless (as was my wife's margarita) and much smaller than the old days. "Crispy" onion strings that were supposed to be on top of one burger were a lump of onion mush underneath the patty instead. Fries came out cold and sparse. The place was pretty dirty on a Sunday night, with no manager to be seen (even after we sent the onion mush burger back). Service was fine otherwise, but the whole experience was a solid "meh." Too bad...I guess it will be several years before we try RR again."

"A Red Robin is pretty much the same across the board. That's the idea behind chain options. Our server was very attentive and helpful. The manager came by every table to make sure everything is good, and when asked to turn down the music a bit, they did. Nothing more I could ask.."

"UPDATE after review, I have always raved how consistently Red Robin is always great until the visit to this location. When we arrived at dinner time on a Sunday and the parking lot was empty should have been by first clue. As we entered two young men were at the hostess desk they looked up greeted us and sat us right next to the hostess desk. The two young men continued to chat joke with each other . Soon another gentleman arrived and was also sat close to us. We were not greeted by anyone nor did I see any working wait staff. I did observe 3 female uniformed employees at a table 2 seated and one standing. They were chatting, laughing and carrying on while we were still hoping someone would greet us by now. Then to my surprise the employee standing at the table with the other 2 girls decided it was a good idea to redo her hair in the dining room. By this time the gentleman that was sat after us got up and walked out. If we weren't so hungry from traveling and loving Red Robin food we would have walked out too. But instead I got up walked over to the 2 guys hosting and asked if anyone knows we have been waiting for service? His answer was yeah let me make sure. Shortly after a waitress we had not yet seen came out and took our order. Her service was ok once she arrived although she did forget to bring a refill when asked. The food was great as always at a Red Robin. I was hoping to spot a manager but clearly no one is in charge in view. Every employee in view appeared to be on break. We arrived at 5:30 on a Sunday night. I would not recommend or return to this location. Attached is the photo of the salad I ordered which was delicious and a picture of the waitress fixing her hair in the dining room while we were waiting to be greeted and another table got up and left. Update: I received a phone call from John one of the managers. He thanked me for letting him know what was going on during our visit. He is going to use it to train them for better teamwork. We had a long conversation and I was very happy with the way John is handling it. I will visit again in the future to see how everything is. I have confidence in John and his management skills."

"My co-worker and I stopped in for a quick lunch, we were served by Corin. We were seated immediately, and the service was incredibly fast, we hardly waited for anything at all! Corin was on top of it, asking if we needed anything, checking on us often, and refilling our drinks just as we were finishing them. She was extremely professional but also personable and down to earth as well. We we definitely be coming back!!!!!!"
