The Wareham Historical Society, located at 495 Main Street in Wareham, Massachusetts, was chartered in 1957 with the mission of promoting interest in and preserving the history of Wareham. The Society owns and maintains five properties, including the Old Methodist Meeting House where monthly meetings are held. The Fearing Tavern and Captain John Kendrick Maritime Museum are also open for tours during specific months. Unfortunately, the Society does not have resources for genealogy or property searches.
