Port Republic School #7 is a historic institution located at 3080 Broomes Island Road in Port Republic, Maryland, United States. Originally built around 1868, this one-room schoolhouse was used for children in grades 1-7 from the local area. After being closed in 1932, it was restored in 1976 as a project for the Calvert County Retired Teachers Association. Today, the schoolhouse offers educational programs for school-age children and adults interested in historical buildings and education. Groups of students can experience a day in a one-room school, complete with lessons taught as they would have been in the early 20th century. The schoolhouse is now owned by Christ Church Parish and maintained by the Calvert Retired School Personnel Association and the Friends of the One-Room Schoolhouse.
