"Our server was super nice and attentive. The restaurant was very clean. The food however was left alot to be desired. We had the NYE seafood buffet. We were there when the food was first set out. The shrimp was tough and overdone. The soup and prime rib were so salty. The soup wasn't edible it was so salty. The mashed potatoes weirdly had no salt. They were flavorless. The crab legs were good,so was the salad bar. The steak my husband had was overcooked but good and the Alfredo was actually pretty good. Def wouldn't go back. It was incredibly overpriced for the quality."

"We needed to run to Hagerstown for some errands on Tuesday evening and I remembered the special at Fireside. We went in and ordered 2 of the steak with all you can eat shrimp and mini crab cakes. My son was turning 8 two days later and he wanted to try the same, so I let him. I asked the waitress if they had a kids version and she said they didn't. I still said OK and let him get it. Our steaks came pretty quickly and they were very good. The shrimp were fine, but the crabcakes were pretty dry. My daughter wanted shrimp and French fries, so she ordered the fried shrimp appetizer. It took a long time for them to come, but after she brought them to the table I understood why. The shrimp were huge and were very good, best thing we had. Everything in the building is very dated, but we will go back at some point and give it another try."

"We went to Zach's for a yearly dinner we have with my parents for the holiday. I have to say I was very disappointed in this place. Food, atmosphere, and recommendations from the server was terrible. I asked specifically about the crab cakes and was told they used very little filler. Wow was that wrong. I had to look hard to find the actual crab meet. $35 for pretty much all filler. French fries would have been tasty if they had not been served cold. Brussel sprouts were overly moist and mushy and had a very potent acidic, garlicky taste (I usually love garlic). The place was pretty empty when we walked in around 7pm and no music was playing other than what I could faintly hear from the back. I asked if they could turn on out in the actual dinning area so we could hear, which they did. Overall, I think it is one of the worst meals I've had as long as I can remember - espcially at the prices they charged. One positive note is that they had a nice selection of craft draft beers."

"We went for the buffet and it just wasn't very fresh in my opinion. My boyfriend went for the crab legs and he was pleased with those but I wasn't impressed overall. I don't feel the need to return. Quantity was good, quality was not. Fried chicken was old and dry, clam strips were old like day old fries. I did enjoy the mussels and steamed shrimp they were good"

"Soup and salad bar was really good. The chicken vegetable soup was really good as well. It seems like it’s hard to find a salad bar anymore. The crab pretzel was awesome! Along with the crab cake sandwich. It wasn’t crowded for a Saturday afternoon. They had some great lunch specials until 2 I believe!"
