"Have had very successful sclerotherapy with two other dermatology offices in the past where I was very pleased with the frankly, expected results. Here, after spending $500, my treated veins look ed much worse, angry, blown up, deeply discolored and swollen than they ever looked before the treatment...even several months after the treatment. I tried to express legitimate concerns ad dismay to the doctor re the $500 out of pocket spent, and there was no compassion, acknowledgement, agreement or offer to refund ... only a statement that "I guess sometimes it doesn't work. Maybe those other doctors were using a different solution." Also, after second unsuccessful treatment, I asked for the receptionist to leave a message for the doctor expressing my concerns, and she stated, that would not be possible as he "was on vacation." I am a medical clinician myself...no words."
