"I stopped by this place by chance because the place I wanted to go, Texas Roadhouse, had over an hour long wait. this place was close by with no wait, so I ended up going here instead. The food was pretty good, but it was priced too high, in my opinion. Ambiance wise, they have a great sports bar setting with huge screens and a large bar area. Service was also good. I'd say this is a high-end bar with good food. Just be prepared to pay higher for that high-end experience."

"We went for a networking happy hour. The beer selection was good as expected. The burger sliders were amazing. I ended up telling someone later about them. Thick and juicy. It’s a burger right? I always say it’s hard to get an amazing burger but easy to turn on bad. Craving them right now. See you there."

"Cool place, average food. Been a few times. Got crab dip today and wanted extra bread. They charged me 5.79 for 5 slides of dip bread. That’s actually insane lol. Nachos were okay but a little too loaded per nacho for me. Made them soggy. Crab dip was tasty."

"This was my second trip to the Ale House. The first time was brunch on a Sunday with some friends and it was just okay. This time it was by myself for a light dinner at the bar. The bartender was sort of busy but more cleaning than waiting on people and the place looked pretty vacant. I looked at the menu saw the specials and wasn't really turned on by anything. So I asked about the crab cake and was told it was a good choice and when I asked for cocktail sauce I was told they didn't have any. I don't know how any restaurant in the state of Maryland can serve anything on their menu with crab or shrimp and not have cocktail sauce. So that really kind of blew me. I almost ordered something else but nothing really turned me on so I went for the crab cake and wish I would not have. It looks good but when I went to pick it up it fell apart and then when I went to put it all back together and try to eat it there was nothing holding it together it was just crab meat that look like somebody squished it together and put it under the broiler for a little while. No mayonnaise no bread crumb no seasoning no pimento or any other kind of stuff to hold it together and usually that's the stuff that makes the crab meat taste like a crab cake should. So I was totally disappointed and the only thing that helped was that the bartender went out of her way to go to the kitchen and make some cocktail sauce for me. That was the only thing that saved that crab cake from being a total waste. I opted for the potatoes instead of the fries and I'm not sure I should have done that either. They were a little greasy and had very little flavor. Overall I may give them one more shot to see if there's something else on that menu that could throw me but on what I have experienced so far I would just say it's okay."
