β OpenThe National Capital Trolley Museum, located at 1313 Bonifant Road in Colesville, Maryland, is a fascinating institution that offers visitors the chance to ride into D.C.'s past on historic streetcars. Experience the transit systems that shaped communities in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia from 1862 to 1962. At the museum's Visitor Center, guests can enjoy exhibits and presentations before boarding one of the living collection of historic streetcars for a ride through Northwest Branch Park. The museum is open every Saturday from 12 noon to 5pm, with the last trolley ride leaving at 4:30pm.
