This park is situated in the heart of the Kensington Historic District and holds significant historical value. It was once the home of Brainard Warner, a key figure in the development of Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. Acquired by M-NCPPC in 2005-2006 through the Legacy Open Space program, Warner Circle Special Park aims to preserve its historic landscape and buildings for public benefit. The property features an 1893-1914 Queen Anne House and a 1914 carriage house, both listed on the Montgomery County Master Plan for Historic Preservation and the National Register of Historic Places.
