Maplewood-Alta Vista Local Park is a beloved recreational spot located at 5209 Alta Vista Road in Bethesda, Maryland. This 10.3-acre park offers a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy, including a playground, tennis and basketball courts, a softball field, and a football field. The park is open from sunrise to sunset, with an exception granted for the lighted courts which close at 11 pm. The park was acquired by M-NCPPC in two separate years, in 1957 and 1960.
