About the Business
The Lab Child Care Center, located at 26 Creamery Lane in Easton, Maryland, is a place where children can investigate and experiment through hands-on play. Our mission is to provide high-quality childcare for families in the Talbot County community, offering a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
We offer an early childhood program for infants aged 6 weeks to 11 months at our Cynwood location, as well as an after-school program for children of all ages at our Creamery location. We believe in the importance of active participation from both parents and staff to support children's success in childcare, school, and life.
The safety of our children, families, and staff is our top priority, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have implemented temporary changes to our programming to limit the potential spread of the virus, following guidance from state health departments and the CDC.
Our qualified staff members are passionate about working with children, and we use the Brightwheel app to keep parents informed about their child's activities throughout the day. We have a spacious indoor play area for children to enjoy, as well as Tumbling Classes to help develop their gross motor skills.
As a bridge to The Lab Martial Arts and Fitness Center, we offer the opportunity for children to enroll in beginner martial arts classes starting at 4 years of age. The Lab Child Care Center provides a combination of centered care with a home daycare feel, making it your child's home away from home.
We are proud to participate in Maryland EXCELS, a quality rating and improvement system for childcare programs that meet nationally recognized standards. This allows us to accept child care vouchers for families who qualify.
