Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park, located at 2450 Lyttonsville Road in Silver Spring, Maryland, is a 17.1-acre park with a variety of amenities for the community to enjoy. Acquired by M-NCPPC in 1962, this park features a playground, softball field, two multiuse fields, four tennis courts, and a football/soccer field. Additionally, there is a picnic area and the Gwendolyn E. Coffield Community Center on site. Maintained without the use of pesticides, the park is a popular destination for residents of surrounding neighborhoods and beyond. With plans for park improvements underway, the goal is to update aging facilities and provide new opportunities for active use by enhancing existing amenities, adding new features, and improving ADA access throughout the park.
