“I booked the Maldron for my cousins 50th birthday and was impressed from start to finish. I checked in on line the day before, so everything was ready for us when we arrived. The reception staff were lovely, very friendly and courteous and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was ready when we arrived and were very pleased with our allocated room and although we could see train line from our window we never heard any trains. My sister in law wanted some extra coffee and a couple of extra hangers and we had only just put the phone down to reception and someone was knocking on our door with requested items.. First class customer service. We had booked breakfast for our stay and we were both very impressed with the quality and selection available. The staff in the restaurant were also very pleasant and helpful and took the time check everything was as we liked. I would recommend the breakfast to anyone. We chose the hotel for its location to the train station and restaurants and bars we were frequenting over the weekend. Had a fabulous time and was very impressed with the hotel and its staff.”

“Was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. Offered a brew straight away which was a nice change. Went through what I wanted and offered their suggestions. Very happy with the result and will definitely be going back to this very friendly barbers.”

“A charming place with a warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere and good food and coffee. Didn't get chance to try the ice cream parlour after my full English breakfast but shall do next time I'm in there! The staff were attentive and helpful. Car park across the road and bus stop outside make it easily accessible. Five stars!”

“I have a rescue dog who is scared/nervous of people but generally interested in other dogs, and he loves it, including the people working here which is massive for him. They’re super flexible, once registered I’ve been able to drop him off without having to book him in in advance, which works really well with my chaotic work life where I can be called into the office at any time! And now they have the pay machine so I can pay when picking up which just makes everything a lot easier too. Love keeping up with the socials and seeing what they’re getting up to in the day too, and they let me know about new friends he’s made in the day when I pick him up. Whenever he’s there he’s always wagging his tail (which is big for our timid boy!) and wiped out when we get home!”

“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“One of my favourite venues for intimate shows! Sometimes the bar is cash only though so worth bearing that in mind before you visit as its a bit out of the way behind the train station.”

“Gina is fantastic, the best groomer we've been too. She takes a lot of personal care with the dogs, whereas some places it's just like a conveyor belt. We have two dogs, the youngest had only his second cut ever and first with Gina. She text me to let me know he was becoming quite anxious and that she was taking little breaks in between so as to not over stress him. This is a great example of how much she cares about their wellbeing. Not only that, the cut was perfect! We loved it. Our second dog got cut today, she's been a few times so no bother with her, but thanks to Gina's diligence she spotted the dog's teeth could do with a good clean. Her attention to detail is second to none. And of course it goes without saying the cut was perfect again. Can't recommend Woof n Go highly enough!”

“Went last night (15/4/22) We went to watch the act that was on (Undecided) never been before had a fabulous night. Staff really friendly and the people who sat at the same table as us made our night. Great atmosphere would highly recommend for a night out.”

“A beautiful lake with plenty of ducks and geese. There were about 10 duckling and four baby moor hens. There's a flat accessible path ideal for wheelchairs and prams. There is a small park. There are no facilities or a car park.”
