The Manchester College
● Open“The Manchester College is the largest further education college in the United Kingdom. It is the largest provider of 16–19 and adult education in Greater Manchester. The origins of the college go back to the early 19th century St. John's Sunday school, a pioneering school for workers. By the 1950s this had evolved into St John's and Openshaw Technical College. Later mergers created the Central College Manchester which became The Manchester College of Arts and Technology in Manchester, while institutions in Central Manchester, Fielden Park, Arden and Wythenshawe merged to form City College Manchester. In 2008 these two combined to form The Manchester College. The Manchester College offers courses for school leavers, adults, higher education students, employers and international students. The Manchester College is based at many sites in the city: these include Moston, Abraham Moss Community School, One Central Park, Manchester Enterprise Academy, the sixth form of St Matthew's RC High School and Harpurhey in the North; Openshaw, Preston Street, Welcomb Street, Nicholls Campus in Ardwick[9] and the Manchester School of Building in the East; Fielden Park (Didsbury), Northenden, Wythenshawe Forum and Brownley Green Wythenshawe in the South; locations in the city centre include St John's in Castlefield, Lever Street, and Shena Simon Campus in Chorlton Street in Manchester city centre. As well as this, the college are due to build a new site on the old Boddingtons' site - opposite the Manchester Arena. The MOL division specialises in delivering professional development training programmes by flexible learning. MOL has existed for more than 30 years providing HR, management, estate agency, construction and electrical engineering courses. Many courses are delivered in partnership with professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP). The Manchester College delivers learning and skills services to offenders in 42 secure establishments throughout England and in two probation areas. The services are contracted in both the private and public sectors to all categories of offender.”

Early Learning Childcare
● Open“My daughter has been at ELC for about 9 months now. Before attednkng, she had an incredible nanny from a very early age. I was very nervous about the transition and level of care offered by a nursery compared to one on one care. We live in Spinningfields, so I conducted in depth research of the city centre childcare options. ELC wasn't the obvious choice compared to the chains in the city centre, but as soon as I met the owners / management I knew it was the right choice. ELC is family run and it really shows. Whenever there are any issues, they are incredibly proactive to create the best experience for our daughter. She had a hard time adjusting to the eating schedule so they asked what kinds of foods we eat at home in order to incorporate them into the menu. There were some staff changes with maternity leave which meant her key worker was changed. The first change didn't gel quite as well, so they transitioned to another key worker who now has an even closer relationship with her. For her settling in session, two of the staff came to our house - which was amazing and really helped her transition. She spends lots of time outdoors and taking walks. This is not the case for the other city centre nurseries. I love their Tapestry App which allows me to follow her activities and development as well as check in when I'm missing her at work. When we're traveling or doing something interesting at home I upload photos and they work them into her engagements. (Again, not available in the other nurseries.) ELC recently received a less than ideal Ofstead report which inspired me to write this review. As a parent, I am far less concerned a out procedures and paperwork than surrounding my daughter with a loving and playful environment. She is, after all, only 18 months!”

Manchester Muslim Preparatory School
● Closed“My son attends this school and Insh'Allah so will my daughter. I think the staff and facilities are very good. This is still a very young school and I feel that it is continually getting better. My son used to attend a long established grammar school and I feel they are very comparable, however, here my son learns about Islamic values.”

BIMM Manchester
● Open“I have just finished studying the Professional Musicianship course at BIMM Manchester. I can’t recommend BIMM enough, my experience was excellent thanks to the staff and tutors. BIMM say their tutors all are experienced industry professionals and this is very, very true! I have learnt from their experiences and they have helped me to grow as a person and musician. Having tutors who were amazing at their craft and knew what they were doing really helped inspire me. The student support staff at BIMM are lovely and beyond helpful, they always go out of their way to help you even if they need to do research in order to help. This applies to the academic staff and the careers team, I have always felt comfortable asking them for help and whilst at BIMM have never felt lonely or lost. As cheesy as it sounds, I truly believe that you get out what you put in. So if you hide away, you might not get as many opportunity or meet as many people as if you put your self out there. This shouldn’t be confused with BIMM not doing their job, this is really down to the individual.”

Manchester Communication Academy Primary
● Closed“This is my child fifth year at MCPA and I am so incredibly grateful that is the school where we landed in. I remember 5 years ago when my child started the school without any level or skills in English-speaking. That day we just moved a few weeks ago from Hungary. Nowadays my child is able to reading, writing, counting and speaking fluently in English. Teachers have been phenomenal at MCPA. They care about the children. Truly a school where no child is left behind. The community and school staff has doing everything to make easier the learning process during the first lock down. They provide interesting and challenging home work through class dojo. The school always give every relevant information to parents about their children. Teachers in here are a good role model for every child at MCPA. All members in this community are very supportive and helpful. I recommend this school to everyone who wants to their children in a safe and expert hands with an inspiring environment and helpful community.”

Eden Girls’ Leadership Academy, Manchester
● Closed40 Rayburn Way, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M8 8DT, United Kingdom“I DISAGREE with ALL those negative reviews below. Iam am a student of Eden Girls and this school has been positioned SECOND BEST SCHOOL IN ALL OF MANCHESTER Eden girls is a very organised school and keeps everything up to date. They have after school enrichments and intervention if your daughter is below target on a certain subject. Eden has high expectations but this doesn't make the school worse. We go on trips which the school pays for. All you have to do is turn up! I would DEFINITELY recommend this school Please send your daughter here and, trust me, you will not regret it!”
