“David was the DJ for our wedding in October 2021. The service was fantastic and sounded great, he did a brilliant job of tailoring the music to suit our preferred genres and also cater to the crowd. The interface he provided for us to choose our songs was very intuitive and went into a lot of depth, which really made it easy for us to know what sort of information we needed to provide.”

“We chose Hilltop Country House as our wedding venue back in 2020 for our June 2022 wedding. It is perfection - the staff, the food & drink, the surroundings, etc. Our wedding day was simply magical. Clare was available for us whenever we needed her - nothing was ever too much and it made the wedding planning so enjoyable! I would highly, highly, highly recommend Hilltop Country House - there is a reason it has been voted the best wedding venue in Cheshire!”

“Stayed here solo while on a two-day break, was fairly priced and also easy to get to and from the city centre on the tram. Also love the location right next to Heaton Park, started off one of my mornings with a walk around it. The room itself, like the hotel, wasn't exactly modern but it was still very comfortable and spacious so can't ask for much more! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked myself in for breakfast on my last morning, which was tasty. Really enjoyed my stay here, look forward to the next one!”

“Jeff was the star of the show (along with my daughter) on Sunday at Edie’s first birthday party. Jeff was absolutely brilliant and to top it off he is really lovely too. All the kids and adults loved him and have been raving about how good he was. I was busy at the party but Jeff made sure not to forget me, he made me a very cute flower corsage and Edie some balloons too. Highly recommend Jeff, we will definitely be using him again! “Been twice now and it's just stunning! The huge panoramic view windows, huge comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms and they always go above and beyond. I let them know we were celebrating a birthday and they left some lovely cakes and a hand written birthday card!”

“The room is bright and airy, the bed is comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is delicious and there is a wide variety of food. I was also given a voucher for a complimentary drink at the hotel bar.”

“My stay was so wonderful it was amazing even though I was only there for 5 nights it was worth the stay and the price also the management were nice and polite always asking everyone if they were OK and said good morning to everyone, and asked about their day. There are local shops around which are literally 2-3 minutes of a walk and a park which is 6 minutes away and a postoffice close by as well. I had a really good experience at the hotel.”

“Anybody who loves their dog will appreciate how daunting it can sometimes be to go away and leave your dog. My dogs are my babies and so when it comes to going on holiday, I will only settle for the best care for them. Fiona is fantastic. From the first time when she came to visit my two dogs, it was clear to me that she loved them and was going to give them the care and attention which they need. My two love going and staying with Fiona and Marley. I am always kept updated with a text message and the occasional picture whilst I am away on holiday which takes away the stress of knowing that they are ok. I cannot recommend Fiona more highly- My dogs love her.”

“Karl was recommended to me when we were arranging our Dad's funeral. Karl was so lovely and helpful, which is exactly what I needed during such a sad and difficult time. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, more than I could ever have imagined. I know my Dad would have been happy with them! “Is a nice place to dine in with your friends or family. Lot of different kind of food in Hong Kong style. You MUST try the snack called "sesame with prawn" and don't miss the drink called "Lemon iced tea". Don't miss out the dessert as well, fruity and IG-able. For sure, we will dine in again very soon!!!”

“An awesome place with superb grub. I had The Houston burger with added brisket and pickles. Really nice thick juicy patty and high quality bacon & brisket. Just the right amount of sauce too. The bun was light but also held firm with the filling. The iron brew chicken fries were also delicious. Not a big fan of regular fries but these were crisp, fresh and well seasoned. Huge portion too! I also had tasty bbq beans and some refreshing coleslaw to cap a brilliant tray of food. A delightful experience in a quirky establishment with terrific friendly staff. Highly recommend trying it for yourselves.”
