Sacred Art
“Amazing place, Sam is a great artist with amazing line work and attention to detail, wouldn’t go anywhere else now! :)”
Stretford Public Hall
“Amazing local landmark building currently being restored. Great local resource for Stretford with weekday activities and spaces for hire. The Christmas Fair was part of the fund raising programme to continue funding the internal work including the ballroom. Well done Friends of Stretford Hall”
Ordsall Hall
“Waay too underrated! The whole story gave me goosebumps throughout the castle! U cannot go there and tell me it wasn’t worth it! There was amazing staff that u could literally talk to for hours! A lovely lady told us the whole story of that mansion. Even the scary but heartbreaking ghost story (lady in white). Anyways, just the little artifacts and the architecture is worth seeing! So if you’re thinking of visiting, you should definitely go there! There’s even a huge garden surrounding the place!”
The Queens Arms Audenshaw
“Went for a Carvery on Sunday and it was good. Choice of well cooked meats and a plethora of vegetables - Carrot & Swede, Cauliflower Cheese, Roast Parsnips. Lovely gravy, ice cold beer on tap and friendly staff. Awesome”
HURST
“Very good quality professional advice and a really nice values-driven culture. Special mention to Mike Lewis and Mike Jackson, who are brilliant advisers.”
Plaza Vintage Jewellery
“We have bought 5 beautiful pieces from Plaza at various fares and always marvel at the sparkling treats under the glass. My latest purchase was a gold double headed panther bracelet which is very much a statement piece. Charlotte is always willing to show and discuss each piece and give its history which adds to the joy of owning it. No doubt will be visiting Plaza in the coming years.”
Milverton Hotel
“Me and my partner stayed at the Milverton Hotel for one night whilst in town for a concert. The staff were very attentive, always on the phone to answer any questions we had. The room and hotel itself was lovely and very clean, comfortable sheets and bedding and the shower had great pressure. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an overnight stay.”
Flintlock Antiques
“Lovely antique shop. If no reply to doorbell, try phoning, helpful owner maybe in workshop”
