The cafe is also a gem, serving great coffee and a selection of cakes, sandwiches etc. Little pricey, but it is rapha after all! There is usually some cycling on the big screens, and a nice atmosphere. The window bar seats are a great place to people watch over King Street.”

“I've been in the process of getting my first reptile for a while now - slowly saving and getting everything I need for a good, solid bioactive setup before I get myself a crestie. This place has been a lifeline, and everyone who works here is a legend! I went up to the counter and said "I think I'm in dire need of help" and lo and behold, they got me everything I needed and then some. All the staff are really nice, they know their stuff, and they have anything you could possibly need. The animals all seem super happy and well looked after. I'll be shopping here for a long time to come!”

“We loved native. It's architecturally really interesting - really great use of this space. The room was beautiful and a lovely place to come back to. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A couple of things that would have made it even better would have been some drawers to put clothes in and a full length mirror. All in all though we had a really great time and will definitely be back.”

“Stayed here recently and it was a treat, from entering the staff were super helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and the shower area is not separated by a wall, so imagine you'd have to be close to the person you're staying with! For me, this wasn't an issue but maybe for some. The gym was great, small but decent kit and the sauna and steam room a total treat too! The breakfast has loads of choice and again, staff very friendly. I would LOVE to go back soon. There is a mini art gallery on the first floor too and it is in a great location, close to Deansgate Station, Oxford Road and so much more.”

“On arrival we got given the menu as we waited for a table. When we got taken to our table the staff were quick at serving us and were very polite and had good knowledge of the local area as we were visiting.”

“A great hostel, with bar and breakfast. We arrived around mid-night and the bar was open for beers and food, which was awesome. The bedrooms were super clean and warm. The bathroom didn’t have pressure on the watwr and was small, but it was inside the room so we didn’t have to go to the one at the end of the corridor.”

“Vapiano is a Fantastic Choice for Pizza, Pasta & all things Italian. I personally eat Halal and was surprised to see they offered Halal Chicken here... The Food is authentic and mouth watering. I have been going here for 5-6 Years and wouldn't place any other Italian Joint above it. The interior of the Restaurant is very Light, Open & Airy. There are 3 Levels and plenty of Seating. They even have a Good Kids menu, my Son just Loves coming here and getting the Margarita Pizza in the Shape of a Bunny.”

They have just started serving breakfasts and other freshly cooked food. The quality and presentation are perfect. Sarah, the chef, does an excellent job. The prices are also very reasonable. Lily and Shannon also provide friendly and helpful service. Coffee Vibe is a long awaited addition to our locale.”

“Went on the second night they’d opened, and they had a bit of a shaky start. The bar staff accidentally put the wrong food order through, we were happy to eat what we were given, but they really pulled it out of the bag when they came over with a portion of their hoi sun duck and chips. Food was amazing, and it’s always good bashing out a couple of super Mario world levels while you wait.”

“My partner and I stayed at the Whitworth Locke for five days and Sanjay and the staff were very kind and attentive. The room was spacious--if a bit dark--and packed full of all kitchen items plus all the coffee, milk and sugar caffeine addicts like me need. The room accents were a lovely touch. I appreciated the 24-h gym. We will be staying here again. The staff at the front desk are exceptional in their customer service. I am awarding the hotel five stars, yet on one night (a Monday, if you can believe it) a party or reception of some kind with a DJ was thumping till 1 a.m. When we met with the reception staff about this--because we had been told that the busy bar right underneath our room would be instantly quiet at 11 p.m. (which it always was)--we were informed that the event was a private one held by the hotel's own manager or owner or someone with an intimate connection to the place, and lowering the volume or at least toning down the thumping bass was out of their control. I would like to inform the party host that your guests do not like to lie awake until 1 a.m. or they will cease to be future guests. In spite of this, all the extras, including the spacious room and the amenities and staff still rate our stay there with five stars.”

“The epitome of New York style loft apartment living but right in the middle of Manchester. You are in the middle of a noisy city yet at night it's so quiet you'd think you were alone in the veritable middle-of-nowhere, probably something to do with the thick 19th century walls. An amazing glass house structure covers the whole of the centre of the quad and coffee drinkers can be often seen imbibing in this area. The building is grade II listed, which means the outside character and look has to be maintained. 24hr concierge and security along with hot water and heating included in the service charge really do make this one of the most desirable residences in central Manchester.”

“Been a resident at The Slate Yard for nearly a year and couldn't recommend it more. Gym is brilliant, you feel so safe even in the middle of a busy city.
