“Great Pub. Robinson's beers. Quiz night on Monday night. Open mike night on a Thursday. Pie night last Friday of the month. Also have a function room for hire. British Motorcycle Preservation Society meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in the function room. All welcome whether you have a British bike or not, or are interested in older British Motorcycles. Our aim is to keep these bikes on the road. Plenty of people available to give advice and assistance.”

“I have always loved this restaurant. All of the staff are lovely and very attentive. It was my mums birthday today and we went to Bella italia tonight for her birthday meal. All of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious. We had a waiter called Jack and he is my favourite waiter - so polite and presentable and will go the extra mile to make your meal so special !! I will definitely keep coming - simply can’t get enough, yum !!! Can’t recommend enough.”

“First went to this pub in 2021, I’m from Shaw but live in the US, stayed at a local Airbnb thought we’d give it a go, simply the best Cheese & onion pie you’ll ever have, was back in the UK in February, went twice in 8 days Great pub all round!!”

“Really comfy and cosy, lovely staff, large projector for the football and sports, great place for groups or individuals as they have booths, benches and tables. Good choices of Beers, Ciders, Ales, Larger, etc. Definitely take your mates or partner for a pint.”

“I go in this Costa fairly often, and have for many years. The staff have always been exceptional, the best in any cafe I've ever been to, with only one or two exceptions and they in the last few months. Overall, they have the knack of choosing incredibly helpful and polite individuals. The cafe itself is not as clean as it used to be (cobwebs on windows and debris behind furniture for long periods) but they are always incredibly busy and I have no doubt they do their best. The staff are wonderful with the regulars, the elderly, and people who can probably be quite a trial to deal with! I've listened to them deal with odd customers with unfailing politeness and calmness.”

“Never been on a weekend but damn its banging on a Thursday with karaoke and great atmosphere. No tossers either just good, down to earth people of all ages out for a laugh. Also amazing prices on drinks. House doubles and pints for only £2.50 and very clean too. Me and my partner and our friends love this place.”

“Not been in this public house for a long time, due to moving out of manchester, but last time I was in I was with a friend and we had a brilliant day/night I would definitely recommend this public house and hopefully I will return one day to see my friend, the prices were very reasonably priced the atmosphere was so nice and the people were so chatty and made you feel so welcome I had a good laugh with some customers who my friend introduced me to… great pub!”

I got to smell the jars and decide which one I liked the most, then my bag was weighed to order so you can decide how much to spend on a bag! Will definitely be back. Only place I've found in Ashton that does speciality coffee like this. Hopefully one day it can move into a larger, permanent space.”

“I've used this place for years, the prices are very low for what you get. The kebabs are as good and anywhere else and for £2 kebab and chips that will fill anyone up you can't go wrong. I've only ever ordered a pizza once and it was great but I just can't help but get a kebab whenever I'm near the shop and its open. There only ever seems to be one guy working there and he is sound and he manages to serve rather quickly considering it can get busy easily.”

“From booking in the staff were friendly the manager Leigh made sure we were seated and had everything we needed to start our visit. Our table server was Geoff was pleasant and great with the 5 children giving colouring sheets and crayons to do while we waited for the last guest to arrive. And our carvery chef Mike was so patient with the kids as they decided which meat they wanted . We love going to Ash Tree Farm it's always a pleasure and clean plates too.”

“We we're working nearby for 2 weeks. Had never been to Ashton before. Needed a lunch spot. Found this little gem first week.. Didn't think about going anywhere else for the next week.. Nice little place to eat.. Good food, great service, nice variety & price.. would definitely recommend & revisit”
