After considering my options I decided to have a new ring made using the diamonds from the old ring and Harvey produced 2 designs for me to choose from. 4 weeks later I returned to the shop to pick my new ring up. “Honestly have to say that this is probably the best craft store I’ve ever been to - and it was a random discovery on a day trip to Manchester. I’m used to Hobbycraft and the occasional trip to CassArt (not something we have in Nottingham) but I have to say that I’ve never seen Procion dyes for sale anywhere else. The gift ideas on the first floor were fun, I saw some things I’ve not seen for years, but the treasure trove downstairs was great. Interesting selection of craft books, paracord in nice bright colours, three different types of fabric dyes, quilling paper, spraycans, all the scissors your crafty little heart could desire, a great notice board with workshops etc on it by the stairs etc etc. And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe slightly short on the amount of cross stitching threads, but most places are and despite this had a good selection of embroidery hoops.”
