“We chose Circus Sensible for our Company Away Day on 14 Sept. 2022 in Oxford. Their experience in running this sort of events helped a lot with the timing of the various workshops. I'd recommend to go very precisely through the space needed for all the workshops, we had 2 indoors and 4 outside. The "office" team made the organising process really easy. The event itself went like clockwork: professional artists, fun, engaging, well briefed on safety and on the objectives of the event.”

“I'd initially booked a two week jaunt to South Africa for my Dads 60th and after months of uncertainty we got the call that it couldn't go ahead. Despite this, Black Opal had stayed in touch throughout the entire experience, reassuring us that they would do everything in their power to make it happen. Alas, it was out of their hands. Black Opal quickly arranged an alternative trip to Murrayfield to at least watch the Lions on home soil and what a day it was, we saw all of the players board the buses prior to playing and a stellar 3 course meal with guest speakers. We had great seats and the atmosphere was as good as we could of expected. Black Opal accommodated a payment method they did not previously accept for me to pay for the entire trip and we got great rates for the initial trip to South Africa and the revised trip to Edinburgh. I'd not used a travel operator before, but I can assure you reading this and Black Opal I do not intend to go elsewhere ever again for sports excursions. Special mention to Ben Collis for the initial handling of my enquiry but my utmost thanks and appreciation goes to Kathryn Morris who was instrumental in the handling of our initial trip when it was in limbo and arranging our trip to Edinburgh. I cannot recommend this group enough.”

“Lots to see and do at Quarry Bank. Plenty of picnic benches for packed lunches, accessible toilet and baby change facilities were good. My 6 year old enjoyed completing the Easter egg hunt and I thought the gardens were magnificent. Good family day out.”

“Beautiful church owned by the Halle, as a rehearsal space for the Orchestra, but has .any other uses. Recently, Fever have done many concerts who have played to 200+ audiences. The space is also home to many choirs, even those from the community. Camarata and Phsappha have held concerts here too. We,ve also had a number of weddings and receptions here as well as corporate events! We've also had outside events held in here too! St.Peters is even bigger now, since the extension. We have offices, single rehearsal spaces, a Cafe on site, run by Cotton Cafe a d the beautiful Victoria Wood Hall.....so lots of different activities or rehearsals can take place at any one time!!!”

Can be very busy when they have business events on in the hotel, but choose the right time and it is easy getting served. Probably best to check first by ringing (and also ask for one of the window tables for the best views) Sit at one of the tables overlooking Piccadilly Gardens and enjoy wonderful food, and great views at the same time. The staff are very professional and extremely pleasant. Well worth a visit if you enjoy eating delicious food in a bright restaurant with excellent views.”

“After waiting for months to even get an appointment with the NHS, I looked at operations abroad. It was the best decision I made. My hernia was repaired and my muscles were put back into place after getting rectusdivarication, caused by a burst appendix The lady called Gill at operations abroad was so helpful and answered all of my questions. The driver who collected me from the airport really did look after me from start to finish. The hospital staff were also amazing. The language barrier was difficult for me at times, but good old language translation on my phone helped me through this!! The surgeon was amazing too and I feel so grateful that he put my tummy back to how it should be. Thank you to everyone involved. I'm now sat at home recovering from my surgery. If I needed to use this company again I would have no hesitatation. Anyone reading this review should do the same. Thank you operations abroad you are my hero.”
