“This is a beautiful theatre and I am really glad there are still theatres like this. The staff are wonderful. The house band are absolutely next level, and the band members take the time out to chat with you and make jokes. The music and composition is absolutely perfect. I saw the Full Monty most recently, and it was absolutely fantastic. The music stood shoulders above the performances and the play itself 11/10!! It was a pleasurable experience overall in terms of the theatre and experience overall. I would definitely travel out of my way to see a play here again.”

“Amazing theatre school with a fun, positive, diverse and inclusive ethos. With the most caring and supportive staff My sons have been going to Chestnut Theatre School for 6 years. They absolutely love it. They have so much fun as well as learning a range of drama skills. They have thrived under the support of Sarah and her team who have such a wonderful way of nurturing and supporting young people to bring out the best in them. My boys have grown so much in confidence. The range of activities/games and learning they do with chestnuts keeps them busy and engaged, They have taken part in numerous shows and showcases which they really enjoy. What I really like about chestnuts is that they will always work at the pace of your child. They are not pushy. If your child is shy/and quiet (my youngest one was for the longest time) that's ok there is still a space for them at chestnuts. They wont get lost in the crowd as every child is made to feel like star. And as a mum its really important for me that the clubs my kids go to a not just educational but are fun, positive and supportive. And chestnuts definitely is. 5stars!!”

“I started at Bates as soon as a turned 3 and I can’t recommend the dance school enough. Bates became a second home to me, like it does all the girls and the teachers can’t do enough for you. The quality of the dance shows every year are amazing and the opportunities Miss Julie provides for all the children are amazing. Bates won’t only provide you with amazing dance lessons but friends who become family too.”
