Siam House Thai Takeaway
● Closed“Back from a three week holiday in France and fancied something fragrant and spicy. The food was just that, fresh, fragrant, spice just right and hot too when delivered. Big portions also which means leftovers which I am happy to freeze as I know it was all cooked fresh this evening. Will definitely order again.”

Siam Smiles Thai Restaurant
● Closed“I brought my Thai mum here and I am so glad I did! I could tell it was going to be good just from looking at the menu and photos, but wow, if you want delicious, authentic Thai food, this is the place. There are so many incredible dishes on the menu that you just can’t get in a lot of other Thai restaurants, I can’t wait to come back and try more already! We came pretty early, about 4 o clock, and we were there till 7 because we loved it so much and were chatting away with Chef May. It did start getting pretty busy after 6 though (even on a Wednesday), so I would definitely recommend booking ahead! I find it a bit ridiculous that people are complaining about the issue of the toilet being round the corner, it’s really not far and I noticed that other restaurants and businesses in Deansgate Mews also have their own toilets in the same block. It’s hardly a sacrifice to eat delicious Thai food in a cute, casual setting in my opinion, unless you have mobility issues, but hey, each to their own. I also disagree with the complaints I’ve seen about pricing, considering chef May’s prices are in line with every other Thai restaurant I’ve been to (and I’ve been to many), plus her food is tasty, excellent quality, and are generous portions too. Myself and my mum both got one of our favourite noodle dishes - Kuai Tiew Moo Nam Tok, and the portion was huge! I also highly recommend the tod maan pla (thai fishcakes). Thank you chef May for a lovely visit and for chatting with us, we will be back soon!”

Thai Kitchen No.6
● Closed“Modern Thai restaurant. This is much better than the Try Thai in city center. The Singha beer is a beer from Thailand, must try one. Fresh to eat prawn is more less the same as the taste I tried in Bangkok. Pineapple fried rice is good, but the portion is a bit small unfortunately same for Pha Thai (remember to ask for less auger otherwise will be a little bit too sweet) The desert is mango with sticky rice, very classic Thai desert. But the mango is not as sweet as those in Thailand, but I believe cannot compare in that way. Overall, I will give a 4.5 stars (minus 0.5 for too few staff to serve too many tables).”

Wing Yip Superstore Manchester
● ClosedOldham Road, Ancoats, Manchester M4 5HU, United Kingdom“Absolutely love coming to wing yip, growing up i didnt really go to asian supermarkets and as i've got older i have come to love the trip to our local supermarket. The range and variety are absolutely stunning, there are brilliant little finds here, it sells dishes, pans and crockery that help transform your dining from casual kitchen to oriental fusion. On today's visit i bought some lovely chinese snacks, which i dont believe i could find anywhere other than here at Wing Yip, i got some vermicelli noodles, some fresh vegetables and fish, i also got some fermented black beans which are absolutely stunning, i also when visiting here always grab something random and try it and today was a bottle of Heinz Ox Sauce which i think i'll coat some deep fried chicken wings in. They also have a brilliant and extensive selection of frozen food from sui mai to frozen crabs. I'd say this place would be amazing for all your chinese cuisine needs. Highly recommend to anyone looking to shop and cook this amazing food.”

Chilli Banana Thai Cheadle
● Closed“My friends and I visited Chilli Banana in Cheadle which is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition. The moment I stepped through their doors, I was transported back to the aromas of Bangkok also the décor adds that little extra. Their menu is a tantalising mix of classic dishes and unique creations, all made with the freshest and most flavourful ingredients. The standout dish for me was their Pad Thai, which was not only beautifully presented but packed with a perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy flavours. The stir-fried noodles were perfectly cooked and combined with a delicious sauce and a generous serving of juicy prawns, vegetables and peanuts. It was simply divine. The Green Curry, which was a true flavour explosion in my mouth. The creamy, spicy sauce was infused with the bold flavours of lemongrass, ginger and basil, and the tender chicken was cooked to perfection. It was a true feast for the senses. I was also impressed by the warm and friendly service at Chilli Banana. Chilli Banana is a fantastic Thai takeaway that offers delicious food, great service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for an authentic Thai experience, look no further than Chilli Banana. I highly recommend it.”
