“I visited furniture by Lauren last year looking for a new La-z-boy settee and chair and found exactly what i wanted after many months looking online and in stores. Lauren was very helpful, informative and patient and gave me a really good deal on the furniture. Gavin and James delivered and assembled the furniture and even took my old settee away as well. Can't remember specifically which one I got, but it has this temperature regulation thing and basically we don't sweat, even on a really hot day. Really happy and would definitely recommend. Emma was brilliant and completely understood what I was looking for. She came up with several different options in different colour ways and prices, samples also arrived really quickly, along with answers to questions and additional inspiration for cushions and footstools. “Hosts very welcoming as I arrived late and they organised a taxi for me . Bed was very comfortable clean and tidy room and bathroom. I was in awe at the view from the breakfast room / lounge - amazing views of the Diglea valley - sheep and lambs in fields - hens clucking around the car park . I chose my breakfast which was freshly cooked whilst I admired the views and peace . The hosts were kind and gave lots of information about the history of the area . A definite recommended from me .”

“I don't drink so I always have coffee, my coffee was spot on and as a bonus there was a choice of chocolate biscuits, yum yum, staff very pleasant place spotless definitely would be first port of call if I lived in Disley which is only a mile or so from Stockport and a bit more to Buxton a good starting point for walkers, with Lyme park a few yards down the road”

“Gorgeous. Spotted it was now open while walking on the Fallowfield Loop (always thought the Loop could do with a coffeeshop ON the trail) and called it on the way back. A 20 minute way for a table because I was obviously not the only one to decide to visit. Small menu but a very good selection and the huevos rancheros are AMAZING. The strawberry shortcake blondie was excellent as well. Beautifully restored building with views out onto the Loop dependent on where you are seated. Lovely addition to Levenshulme.”

“Paulicarus tells me I have been here before but if so, I have no memory. Nice Tapas bar with upstairs kitchen and toilets. Paulicarus brought Mum for early Mothers Day treat. Loved every dish. A gooey centred tortilla. Crispy belly pork. Lovely beef stew. Calamari, peri peri, veg stew etc. Definitely come back. Lovel sherry to finish.”

“We ended up in furniture village by chance one day when we were looking around different shops for furniture for our new home and I’m so, so glad we did. I do have to say that the majority of downstairs items weren’t our style, but upstairs we found so much we absolutely loved - so don’t be put off by what’s visible from the outside, it’s definitely worth going in to have a look around. On our first visit we saw a beautiful ercol sofa on display upstairs and then made our way over to the beds section where Laura came over and introduced herself to us. I’m not even exaggerating when i say, i never knew somebody could know so much about furniture, beds, brands and the business she’s working for. We spent around an hour with Laura looking at frames, material, trying different mattresses and pillows. She was super informative without being pushy and although she knew we weren’t ready to purchase there and then, she still spent just as much time with us as she would have would we have been paying customers, ensuring we had all the information we needed for when we were ready to make a decision. And because of this we knew we wouldn’t go to anybody else when the time came to buy. We left with loads of information, a hot chocolate i believe, and having found the bed, mattress and potentially sofa that we would like. A good few weeks later we saw there was a sale on at Furniture Village so decided to go in, have a look at prices and potentially go ahead with the order. Of course we only wanted to deal with Laura cause of how amazing her customer service was the last time we were in, so we caught her attention and patiently waited for her to finish with her customers. So first we went through the bed frame and mattress we wanted, Laura remembered from the previous appointment the ones we loved and we confirmed that we would like to go ahead with those options. Once the bed options were all confirmed we started to enquire about the sofa we loved, our timing was impeccable as it was only the evening prior to us going in again that they had received an email for the display sofa to go on sale - Laura agreed a price with the other managers which was absolutely amazing for us as buying and furnishing a house isn’t cheap so every little helps. You could tell the staff take great care of the furniture as the sofa looked good as new. We also enquired about the upcoming Black Friday sale and Laura reassured us that the prices are unlikely to go any lower, but should that happen they will price match themselves which was exactly what happened with the Tempur mattress we ordered. Because we chose the finance offer, it was a good few weeks before going in to set up the finance contract as we didn’t want our furniture delivered to a building site… during this time Laura has been so easy to communicate with, there have been multiple times when i have added other items to the order, or enquired about other display items from stores all over which she has organised for me no bother. I’ve honestly never received such good customer service, hence the essay of a review because this amazing lady really needs to be recognised for all her hard work. I went from going into furniture village by chance to furnishing the majority of our home from there, all of which was organised and accommodated by Laura.”
