“Sent on behalf of my parents Les and June as me and my brother have already posted a review. What a truly great plaice haha everyone knows each other, service is spot on. Food is incredible, always a pleasure to dine there and Pam and Kevin know each of there customers and its like 1 big family, and they make sure everybody is well looked after. It's definitely the best chippy we've been in. Very highly recommended can't get better than the Middleton Chippy. See you all soon Les n June”

“We went here on the second day. They have a very nice and simple menu of great traditional Mediterranean dishes. We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. The service is very friendly and it is a welcome and addition to the area, you will not be disappointed.”

“Having just moved to glossop, this was the first place I visited when my partner suggested to come here for our first date. It was so lovely, staff were super friendly and went above and beyond for us. Really lovely place and will hold a special place for me and my partner. I'm sure we will be returning! “Whilst I was initially skeptical about the price, I hang my head in shame as it was definitely well worth it! The atmosphere is very warm, the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, the drinks are well priced and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the sharing platter for two and we're fighting over who got what as it was all so good! This was my first time visiting but it definitely wasn't my last, I absolutely recommend a visit if you're in the area!”

Its amazing how well coordinated they all are and quite fun to watch them work. Bar staff attentive and drinks are good quality and reasonably priced. “Overwhelmingly positive experience. Got recommended a rare wine from Uruguay that was the best wine I’ve tried. The meat variety and quality is ridiculously good, the waiters keep coming to offer new cuts of meat with a span of minutes until you stop them, and trust me you will. I was there for 2 and a half hours and ate all I could, nobody rushed me and the service is 10/10. I would highly recommend this place either for a date, going out with friends or family. It’s great for any case. I’ll have to fast for a day after this, but worth it!”

“We were in the area and booked last minute for Sunday lunch. We were recieved with a warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Sunday menu has a fabulous options from a variety cuisines. The food was excellent, a 10/10 per course. I will definitely return. Thank you.”

“Made a quick stop for a sandwich while working in the area. Car park just behind the shop which was handy. Had a chicken tikka baguette and was fantastic. Great value and taste. Would go again if nearby.”

“Great, authentic Ethiopian restaurant within easy walking distance of town and Piccadilly and Oxford Rd stations. The restaurant is up the spiral staircase which appears you enter Istanbul Kebab shop! Several Ethiopian couples were eating when we entered - which was encouraging. We ordered lamb tibs, and misir what with injera. Food was good portion size - we couldn't finish it - and tasted great. The waiter and staff were smiling and super friendly and helpful. The bill was very reasonable - recommended - will return.”

“Oh, the lovely food! This is a brilliant true Middle Eastern experience. One where the don't push tons of cumin to be considered middle Eastern. Fresh ingredients with heart warming flavours and cooked over charcoal grill. Our second time here, it is just a delicassy!”
