He has such creative ideas while still being open to suggestions as well as excellent professional skills to bring it all to life. Most of all he loves what he does which means he goes the extra mile with an attention to detail that is second to none. Wayne kept us informed every step of the way, was friendly and courteous, did everything he promised and more.”

Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel
● Open“I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay at this wonderful hotel. In particular the staff, Alex and team, were amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Bear in mind this is an old building and some of the rooms are in need of a little bit of TLC but the views are fantastic and it's great to be able to stay in an iconic example of 60s modernist architecture. The restaurant and breakfast area particularly stylish. I would definitely recommend - worth requesting a more recently refurbished room if you do so.”

Door 34 Coffeehouse & Kitchen
● Closed“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”

La Boheme
● Closed“Had an awesome meal with a mate. Between courses they'd come out with little tasters and you can have a choice of breasts both gratis as part of the experience. Cost more than plenty of restaurants, but not ridiculous either considering it was all very nice. A few reviews mention weirdness with the staff (probably gone now), we had nothing like that. My images show the haddock starter with sweet chilli and ginger, and my dessert. Sorry forgot the pic of my main course, the steak and peppercorn Just note that if you are funny about trying new things with this as a French restaurant, the menu descriptions were in English, and while there's plenty of fancy things, you can still have twists on very English choices. Cost £38 for 2 courses on the Xmas menu, then paid more for desert and drinks”
