“Went with a few friends and we had the best time. A nice way to see the Salford quays with a detailed audio of the locations we pass. A good selection of hot/cold/alcoholic drinks and snacks available. Clean bathrooms on board. Lovely, attentive staff. Great value for the £10 cost. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go again.”

“Stayed overnight to see Peter Kay. Lovely hotel, large room with a very comfy bed. Huge television. Couldn't beat the price either. Didn't use the pub/restaurant but it looked great and lively. Amazing location and easy to get to from the train station. Will definitely stay again.”

He has such creative ideas while still being open to suggestions as well as excellent professional skills to bring it all to life. Most of all he loves what he does which means he goes the extra mile with an attention to detail that is second to none. Wayne kept us informed every step of the way, was friendly and courteous, did everything he promised and more.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay at this wonderful hotel. In particular the staff, Alex and team, were amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Bear in mind this is an old building and some of the rooms are in need of a little bit of TLC but the views are fantastic and it's great to be able to stay in an iconic example of 60s modernist architecture. The restaurant and breakfast area particularly stylish. I would definitely recommend - worth requesting a more recently refurbished room if you do so.”

Luckily, I realised B'spoke was just up the road - the only place in the area that serves NQ quality coffee. It's a must-visit for all true coffee lovers. “It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”

“Great ambience. My Mum has arthritis and struggles with larger cups, the staff brought different cups to see which she could manage best. Had pancakes with bacon plus 2 eggs, delicious food and coffee.”
