"I want to leave a review for this place as we stayed overnight and were meant to stay another night but i asked to cancel the reservation.. I will say, on first impressions, the hotel is beautiful. Its quiet and the grounds are tranquil. Inside the hotel is lovely. The Resturant is wonderful, the food is absolutely delicious. The lady on reception is lovely. She even got a toy out for my son who was running wild. The only let down is the rooms! The corridors look like a hostel and the rooms aren't the cleanest, especially with a 2 year old trawling along the floor. The rooms had a working hairdryer, hot water and tea/coffee making facilities. We also had a good working TV but the Internet isn't great nor the WiFi. I am leaving 4 stars though because I had a peaceful nights sleep, the food was amazing and the staff are lovely. Once the rooms are sorted, we will be back as the hotel is great in every other way and I really cannot fault the staff. They were so accommodating and kind. ❤️"

"Christmas 80s night. Meal was great. Real turkey and all the trimmings. Fantastic night. The room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend. Thank you for great night and stay."

"Spectacular decor in the lounge. Rooms are bigs and bathrooms are too good to take shower and relax. Service was excellent, I just loved the ambiance inside and outside both."

"Cozy friendly hotel, rooms are about what you would expect for the price. Could use some updates. One serieus problem was the shower: it was falling appart, the water pressure was very low and if you tried to put the pressure up the water litteraly burnt mij gf's scalp. So no real way of regulating the temperature. Staff was very friendly and decorated the room on request, breakfast was good, dinner was just ok."

"The hotel communal areas have had a beautiful make over and the rooms are next to be done. Attended family christening today and staff were great and really work for their pay believe me! The buffet was delicious and all guest's commented on how good the food was. Everywhere perfectly clean including huge outdoor areas which includes a covered smoking area. I do not understand how anyone can say the place is noisy at night ( and yes I have stayed previously) as it has one road near it and nothing but countryside surrounding it. Perfect place for all functions"
