“After taking our 18month very lively boxer dog to see Glyn for only 2 lessons so far, the results have been amazing!!! Glyn is showing us how to keep our dog engaged and be in control. Glyn has an amazing way of making our dog want to learn and listen, skills he is very patiently trying to pass to us. We all love the lessons and come away with new skills to practice each time. After having a puppy during lockdown, with no way of meeting new people in his first year, Glyn has been absolutely brilliant with his over excitement issues. I truly cannot rate Cheshire Dog services enough. I am looking forward to our next lesson!!!!”

The owner has a vast range of knowledge about the reptiles that he breeds and was happy to answer the questions that I had. He's a really friendly and approchable guy, who even let me hold one of his other snakes that I'd never come across before. If I were looking to purchase a snake again, I would defintely go back and it was worth the two buses that I had to get to reach the shop”

“We have recently added a Cockapoo puppy to our family and Amber Pets were recommended to us by neighbours. All the staff we have spoken to have been really knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend the shop to anyone, particularly first puppy parents like us. They make it really easy to order food for Denver and have said that anything we needed that wasn't available could be ordered and collected from the shop.”

“Bought my persian cat Toby here today for the first time and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Toby had a bad experience previously at a different groomers which left him quite traumatised and extremely reluctant to be groomed, the girls at Sammy's did such an amazing job and were so calming even though he was very agitated and snappy (Toby's sorry)! I'm so glad I've found Sammy's and have already booked him in for his next pamper session. Highly recommend this place; the shop is so clean and smells divine! The prices are amazing aswell! “Recently visited Recently visited Oldham’s pet shop just to check out their fish selection after they kindly gave me some info via Instragram. I’m very much into tropical fish keeping, most local shops will offer your general big name products for tropical fish but you tend to find anything other than beginner tropical fish stuff is lacking in local shops. I was pleasantly surprised by OIdham’s though. They don’t have loads of tropical fish species, but they do have some stuff other than the normal guppies/tetra (they also had them!) and clearly the fish were well cared for. Didn’t notice any signs of stress, clean (and clearly cycled) water and tanks. Fish I purchased (Siamese fighter/Betta) settled into his new home almost instantly which suggests to me he was looked after in his old home as well. Even when they were removing the fish from the tank and packaging him up for me they handled him extremely well! All the other gubbins you’d want for your basic fish keeping needs as well. Did have non-tropical fish as well but didn’t really look at them. Loads of other stock around for other animals, birds, rabbits, dogs and cats. Some very friendly looking dogs (owners? Friend of owner? not sure!) were in when I visited. Plenty of other general pet/garden items, got some sunflower and wildflower seeds which have germinated well. Oldham’s is a classic old fashioned pet shop, with absolutely lovely staff (even the young Saturday work lads were super friendly!) who ask the right basic questions about the fish I was purchasing. Genuinely do recommend them!”
