They are very upfront about the limited menu, and new staff still being in training. We ordered 14 meals, with a few extra sides/starters and everything came out together, well presented, hot and in reasonable time. I had the "Seasoned Bird" chicken burger, it was great! We then went in the soft play for an hour or so, the kids (4, 6 & 7) loved it! Could have maybe done with an extra member of staff in the attached cafe, the lady running it was lovely, she signs everyone in, takes your orders and prepares the hot drinks... she will sleep well tonight! Recent reviews make it clear they've had their fair share of teething problems... but don't let that stop you from going!”

The venue is fabulous the food was excellent, A.J. & family & all their staff went out off their way to make the day perfect. To round the day off we stayed in one of their beautiful rooms overnight followed by a fantastic breakfast. Not one guest had anything bad to say about the day, i would recommend this place to anyone.”

The room was a good size, recently decorated, with a good bathroom. We didn't eat there, but the menu looked good. Breakfast was also available from 9.00am. The room and the food were very reasonably priced. Very nice helpful staff which made for an enjoyable stay.”

Located a short walk along canal path to Whaley Bridge, and 3 miles along canal path to New Mills. Recommend lamb shank and beef hot pot with extra chunky fries which we had (see photos) ..No need for chips on the way home after that. Very warm and cosy traditional friendly atmosphere with low ceilings. Choice of 4 cask ales, including Timothy Taylor..See photos. B&B :- Four poster room very nice with new spacious ensuit shower. Stairs and landing work in progress re decorating but this didn't change our enjoyment in the slightest :) Breakfast amazing with all the usual choices cooked really well and any variation in menu not to much trouble. Will definitely return.”

We held a baby shower here for 25 people. The catering and assistant service (esp Caitlyn was exemplary, above & beyond. Fantastic calm and well prepared service from assistant manager Liz whose inter personal skills, as well as organisational delivery was personal and utterly perfect. Fab for a party /baby shower/event. Discreet and private upper floor for functions although there are stairs to climb. Food was yummy too. Attentive for drinks and service. Will definitely visit Bistrot Piérre again for Food and drinks I highly recommend this gorgeous venue for parties/events etc....”
