Just Eat Thai Cafe
“Lovely place with friendly staffs. Wonderful place, will come back for sure.”
Mumbai to London Cafe Restaurant, Droylsden, Manchester
“Been to Mumbai to London recently with my wife and had a brilliant experience and got to sample their delicious food. Tonight it's wet, rainy and horrible so we ordered a delivery. Absolutely top quality yet again. Food was tasty, well cooked and beautifully spiced. So happy we're able to get takeaway from here if we can't travel there”
Wrap It In Trafford Park
“Wraps are absolutely gorgeous The place is immaculate Thi k subway but better Would definitely recommend!!”
The Little Shop Cafe
“I’m working in reddish for a week & my mate recommended this cafe.. Best cheesy chips I had in my life, highly recommend it”
Wrap & Go
“Great food and friendly service. My sons says it’s the best takeaway. We go at least once a week for his favourite, chicken and chips with a generous side salad. Always fresh and delicious!”
Off the grid
“Excellent food. Highly recommended. £150 between 7 of us”
The Poynton Pakora
“Went for the first time last night, 30 min drive away but would definitely go again, quality of the food was spot on, big portions, and good service, 2 adults and 2 kids we had poppadoms mixed starter for two three curries 2 rice 2 chips and one naan plus drinks came to £110 can’t complain, highly recommend :)”
The Helen Street Chippy
“Went a while ago when the new owners took over and the batter on the fish was thick and soggy. Went tonigh and the fish and chips was awesome. Will be going back”
The Flower Pot Cafe
“Amazing food and amazing service, 10/10 would reccomend you to go here”
The Strines Nightingale
“Strines Nightingale shows their is hope for an incredible venue, after death by annexed strangulation, that has been dished out by the corporate drinks industry to the independent pubs in the High Peaks. There’s nowhere you’d rather be locally. The type of place you’ll realise makes you want to relocate to the area. All whilst listening to music worthy of James Ford short. It’s effortless. You won’t be disappointed. A credit to the area.”
The Stretton Grill House at Ring O' Bells Inn
“Wow Fantastic. My wife and I had a meal here last week for the first time. We both had the fillet steak and it was great. Great waitress too. Highly recommend.”
The Snug
“Quirky with a vintage twist. I love this little café. It's so inviting and you can smell the beautiful food as you approach. The new location is definitely better for size. There's seating inside and out which makes a change for this area. I love the shear selection of tea and I'm slowly trying to work my way through them all. So far my favourite is the fairy wings tea. They also have a great milkshake selection. The bacon butties are amazing. Plus the homemade cakes and scones are a must try.”
The Greek Chippy
“This place is honestly a gem and my favourite local takeaway. They serve authentic greek food which is sensational. They also do fish and chips which I have to say are absolutely banging and better than the local chippies!! Big shout out to Bekim and co, the service is unbelievable and standard of the food is 10/10 every time! This is now the only place I get a takeaway in Stalybridge and cannot recommend this enough to anyone local! The mixed gyros with halloumi, skepasti sandwich and fish and chips are delicious and also great value for money with big portions. One thing to consider, the place closes at 9PM so make sure to get your order in before then if you are craving Greek food and don't leave it late. There is no alternative in Stalybridge and after 9PM you will have eat from YAMAS (who I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy as I had violent food poisoning for like 3 days) - ironically only ordered from there as I forgot about the closing time. Don't make my mistake!”
The Lime Kiln Cafe
“Fantastic place to enjoy a bite to eat with beautiful views, delectable dishes and wonderful and upbeat staff. Well worth a visit and right on the canal, a gem on the outside of the village. If you're travelling by car there's not much parking so try to find somewhere nearby or park in the village and walk down the canal. The were a good selection of choices available on the menu including a comprehensive number of drinks to choose from all for reasonable prices. It appears to be a popular destination but they do have plenty of tables so you may have a short wait but it's worth it. Outside by the canal most of the seating is for 2 people but there are a couple of tables for bigger groups on the side and out front. Inside there are plenty of tables, upstairs has great views. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. We will definitely be returning!”
The Village Chippy
“Fresh fish and chips cooked to order and a great chat with the owner..”
The Original Taste
“THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE TAKE AWAY IV EVER HAD! The service is perfect always friendly and so welcoming. The food is amazing! The price is so reasonable.. i honestly can not say one bad word about this place.. and the chap on the phone is so lovely... 5 STARS ALL THE WAY... Even my partner love the food and he is a fussy sod... to the staff at original taste pls dont change a thing.. it's so hard to find a good take away”
Fuzion Eats
“Ordered for the first time and we loved their food. Didn’t have to wait too long to get our order. The wings were so crispy and tasty and the Singapore Vermicelli was nice too. Everything was very flavoursome but their salt and pepper chips were just ok. However the food is a bit pricey for takeaway and it does however make you super thirsty. I will however come reorder with them.”
The Roundabout Cafe
“Went in to order takeaway breakfast. Great service and great food. Loved it x”
The Kitchen- Waterloo
“Had the BLT on toast with a mocha, Was cooked perfect, Staff was friendly, Places to sit and fair on price. Five ***** From me.”
The Farrars Arms
“Great lively atmosphere, a real family, all welcome pub. The team are really great as is the service. You've got to have the cheese pie!!!”
Manchester Fresh Shawarma
“Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”
Food On Third
“Very nice experience even during busy times. Very helpful and nice staff.”
Manchester Road Chippy
“Great chips and great fish. All reasonably priced. Staff are all nice and chatty. Only chip shop we go to. Parking on the road. Super friendly to kids.”
Casa Mexica Manchester
“Most authentic Mexican place I've found so far in the UK with actual corn tortillas and salsa Valentina! No longer called Pancho's so ignore that part on here but still a great place that offers burritos and much more like enchiladas! Only bad thing is that not all the drinks on show are available anymore but really loved finding this place and the staff were super nice and super friendly. Beers are £3-£3.50 and 2-4-1 between 6pm and 9pm so a bargain! Haha”
The Full Monty
“Although one place I have never been to, all I hear is excellent comments. Hopefully I will fit it in on my tours shortly. When four friends who are very selective say it's first class then it has to be.”
Cafe on the Corner
“Three of us called in this cafe for our lunch . We sat at a table upstairs and were served quite quickly . The chargrilled chicken was really nice and you got plenty of it with rice and side salad Also I had a cheese, ham and onion panini which came with chips . We ordered Halloumi fries between us ( they were little oblong pieces of Halloumi rather than fries shape ) which was a nice change and were lovely . I would say the only thing to improve the service is to not clear the table before everyone has finished eating and also ask if finished before just taking the plates . I would go again and recommend this place .”
The Lamb Inn
“We had a fantastic couple of nights at The Lamb Inn - such a cosy and welcoming pub with excellent service and delicious food. The bed was so comfy and the room was brilliantly equipped, and a great location for visiting different parts of the Peaks. The roast dinner on Sunday and the cooked breakfasts were a definite highlight for us and we would love to come back again! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and looked after :)”
Henighans EAT & DRINK
“First time visiting and we weren't disappointed at all. We at half chicken and the hunters chicken from the special menu. Both Freshly prepared and looked stunning. We enjoyed every mouthful. We finished our meal with a homemade rocky road cake to share portions are great we would recommend to anyone”
