"We had prebooked and also preordered as we were a fairly large group of about 30 adults and a few children. There were a couple of other small groups too. It took a very long time for the drinks to be ordered and even longer to be served. The food was served in a fairly timely manner. It was flavoursome and sufficient for us. It just seemed very chaotic and disorganised.. There wasn"t enough staff for the number of people there."

The team catered for over 360 people on the night and we are pleased to say that the feedback from our members was extremely complimentary. The food, many choices for both veg and non veg dishes and the buffet stations were professionally manned at all times. Minor issues prior to the event were professionally handled by Bhavesh. A stress free experience on the night and anyone looking to cater for a large party should seriously consider the services of Spice & Spirits. We would certainly consider them again. "We eat here at least once a month and the food is consistently warm and tastes delicious too. The waiters are friendly and are very attentive. The restaurant is clean and hygienic also. Definitely the best Indian restaurant for miles ."

"The mix starter for one and the lamb shank were nice. The curries we ordered wasn't great. Chicken tawa curry, the chicken was dry. Chicken tikka and lamb mix tikka masala, which only had 2 small pieces of lamb and 5 pieces of chicken. Ordered 3 rice dishes, mushroom pilau rice, garlic pilau rice and egg pilau rice. They were nice but were warm. Even the curry dishes were warm. I ordered a small bottle of sparkling water and they gave and charged me for large. Was that sparkling. Price wise, is kind of expensive because the main course dishes aren't that big. I would go again but not in a hurry"
