I was present when James entered the shop, helped himself to coffee without asking or being offered (I appreciate we’ve all been raised differently!) .. jumped the queue .. before announcing ‘the last barber messed my haircut up and I would like mine washing now’ .. I was in the seat near the window and I looked at the owner with an expression of ‘what the ***‘ absolutely amazed at his rudeness. Still.. they all treated him with respect. We were fortunate to find Mens Room still open at 4pm on a bank holiday! He was seen straight away, and my terrible hair cut was fixed in a matter of minutes! “I personally have only been to Sam. Ive been booking in with her every 2 weeks for the past 4 months. Her cuts get better and better every time i go. Shes brilliant. The place looks great and is always busy. Although the cuts are a little more expensive (£15) than your average barber. It's definitely worth the extra. Please be aware that you have to book in for an appointment. Which i think is a great idea. Sat waiting in my previous barber for 2 hours at a time is the reason why i changed the 1st place.”

“Visited here a few weeks ago as my regular barber (Loll) had recently moved to the premises so wanted to give it a shot. Firstly, I know during Covid we're concerned with social distancing and safety for very good reasons. When i walked in the seating were all distanced apart and I was asked to only turn up when my appointment was ready to help ensure you weren't waiting. The gowns provided were disposable and the chair was bring cleaned when I walked in so put me at ease tbh. Loll is a fantastic barber and I've used her for years so if you're looking for a good haircut with a friendly service can't recommend her enough. She also does fantastic colours and it's in an easy to get to location! Can't recommend this place enough. As with most businesses now they're under strain due to Covid and I'm happy to see that they're taking it seriously and using extra time to make sure it's safe. So go support your local barber and get an amazing haircut from Loll!”
